Preclinical cardiac models need to be both predictive and practical. This is where 3D engineered heart tissues can make a real difference, but reproducibility and throughput often remain major challenges. Our poster highlights how Cuore, Optics11 Life’s multi well contractility platform, supports standardized tissue generation, electrical pacing, and real time force measurement with nanonewton precision through optical interferometry. Built in partnership with Axol Bioscience, this workflow combines validated human iPSC derived ventricular cardiomyocytes with a reliable platform for long term assessment of tissue maturation, contractility, and pharmacological response. The result is a plug and play solution designed to support more consistent cardiac research and better informed drug development decisions.
